4 Days / 4 Nights
October 7th-11th,  2019

in the

 Hudson Valley

The beautiful Hudson Valley in October is the location and inspiration for our 4 Day/4 Night Fall Workshop with master painter, Beth Rundquist.  Participants will have access to three idyllic settings to paint, including Olana, the historic home of American landscape painter, Frederic Church a central figure in the Hudson River School of Painting;  two days at Kinderhook Farm, an animal welfare approved farm with grazing cows, sheep, pigs and chickens in a gorgeous, pastoral setting; and a spectacular private estate, with stunning views and warm hospitality. The workshop includes full accommodations in a restored local farmhouse with delicious farm to table meals prepared by local chefs.

Beth Rundquist began her study of art as an undergraduate at Smith College. She has studied drawing and painting at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts in Connecticut, L’Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris and the Repin Institute of Russia in St. Petersburg.  Beth has traveled in the U.S. and abroad to paint commissioned portraits and has received numerous awards for her paintings.  She has taught for 20 years both privately and at the New York Academy of Art.   Her paintings hang in private and public collections around the world.
