SHADY GLEN

The Workshop includes all meals and accommodations at Shady Glen Farm, an expansive and beautifully situated eight- bedroom farmhouse in Ghent, NY. Originally built in 1860, the renovated farmhouse is surrounded by 165 acres of woodlands and fields- perfect for morning walks.  For those who would like to swim, there is a spring-fed pond and swimming pool.
Breakfast and box lunches are provided each day and a local chef will prepare each night’s dinner.  The workshop is a collaboration between Beth and host, Debbie Gardner of Shady Glen. The Workshop will begin with an introductory dinner the evening Tuesday, June 23rd.

Testimonials from a recent workshop:

Thank you so much for the wonderful experience of hospitality, food, conversation and of course art.  You are great collaborators.  Now that I am back in the city and facing a week of work, I will daydream of the workshop and steal moments of lovely memories.  –  Sara, NYC

Our group dynamic was so unique, warm and compelling.  Of course, the setting for this was created by our mentor Beth and host Debbie to whom I remain infinitely grateful.  The entire workshop experience was so beautifully conceived and executed.  –  Barry, Puerto Rico

Thank you for your warm hospitality, gracious home and decadent farm-to-table food.  It brought the entire experience over the top.  The workshop was a wonderful experience and I’m looking forward to the next one!  – Stephanie, CT
